Spooner works on a tiny scale, using DIY home science kits, and sharing his worlds using amplification and magnification. His performances reveal the material properties of the objects he has created, as well as their hidden lives. For his new work, he invited us to gaze at his smallest world yet, through the lens of a microscope and the eyes of an astronomer.
