Every Night About This Time

Saturday 3 April 2010

Every Night About This Time was a series of thirteen works, occurrences, simultaneous happenings/events/scores, which took place in Whitstable and other locations around the world, over the period of the 2010 Biennale.

Paterson’s work was a disparate orchestra; a fragmented composition; a concert of ideas. The series spanned the festival, starting in the Sahara Desert with Inside this desert lies the tiniest grain of sand, and finishing with History of darkness, in the Coastguard’s Lookout, in Whitstable, with one thousand images of darkness from distant points in the universe projected through the night.
