Susannah Hewlett is a UK based artist and performer working in live art, comedy, installation, sound and video. She has exhibited and performed across the UK and internationally in theatres, art galleries, museums, catwalk shows, festivals and nightclubs. She is a Duckie associate artist.

Typically, her live art practise has involved borrowing and subverting emblematic moments from popular culture and recreating these into darkly humorous works. She has made infiltrative work that happens in public spaces for audiences to encounter, as well as stage based theatrical shows such as Barbara and Yogashwara’s Safe Space – a comedy horror show in a caravan. As cultural archetype Chris Titmas – an ego maniacal shopping channel host, she satirises the notion of capitalists capitalising on a recession in the worst ways possible.
