Students studying film, or recently graduated, from the University of Kent, the University for the Creative Arts and Canterbury Christ Church University, were invited to enter short films, lasting five minutes or less, by open submission. Competition was fierce, and six entries were selected by Whitstable Biennale’s curators, to be screened at this special evening at the Horsebridge Arts Centre. The winning entries are by Sophie Dixon and Jonathan Webb (University of Kent), Gemma Riggs & Laura Murphy, Helen Poulteney, and Catherine Anne Tutton (University for the Creative Arts Canterbury), and Matt Strange (Canterbury Christ Church University). Drinks will be served.
