Wilson was born in Belfast and studied at Central Saint Martins, London. Wilson makes sculpture, installations, drawings, video and performances. In 2010 she was awarded the Winston Churchill Memorial Fellowship, which enabled her to further investigate her interest in the global history and culture of brick making and laying by travelling to China, Peru, The Netherlands and Belgium.
