Arianne Churchman

Arianne Churchman is an artist from Suffolk, East Anglia. Her practice concerns British folklore and traverses performance, film, sound, textiles and sculpture. Recently her works have centred around the creation of a Dream Horse Cult, whereby the folklore of horses is reimagined into strange new fictions, collective feminist histories and psychedelic dreamscapes. She holds an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art and a BA from the University of Reading. She has exhibited internationally and has had solo presentations at Xero, Kline and Coma, London and Nottingham Castle, Nottingham. She has twice been artist in residence at Metal, Peterborough and was recently artist in residence at St Margaret’s House, London. She frequently collaborates with other artists including Benedict Drew and Chloe Langlois.
